NWC Beneficiaries 2026-2027

For more than 32 years, Frisco Family Services has supported individuals and families in Frisco and Frisco ISD facing hunger, homelessness, and other urgent needs, helping them build stability and move toward self-sufficiency. Funding from the NWC grant supports the nine-week Summer Lunch & Learn Program, which provides nutritious lunches to children who rely on free or reduced-price school meals, Friday produce boxes to help families through the weekend, and free books to encourage continued learning throughout the summer.

Ronald McDonald House Dallas (RMHD) exists to serve families with seriously ill or injured children by providing a home-away-from-home while their child receives medical care. Northwood Woman's Club is partnering with RMHD in serving the House's mental health patients and their families through the Peace of Mind Program. RMHD has long been a beacon of comfort and compassionate care for families, providing temporary housing, three meals a day, transportation, and other services to keep families close while they face a medical crisis. Mental health now ranks among the top five diagnoses of families who stay at the House that LOVE Built in Dallas.

Metrocrest Services exists to empower individuals, families, and seniors to achieve self-sufficiency and foster independence, creating a thriving community for all. The No Child Hungry Initiative ensures children have consistent access to nutritious food year-round through a coordinated system of support that includes a client-choice Food Pantry, Mobile Food Pantry, and Sack Summer Hunger, a summer meal program. By adapting services seasonally and prioritizing access, dignity, and reliability, the Initiative prevents gaps in nutrition when school meals are unavailable. In 2025, No Child Hungry served 8,052 children and helped distribute nearly 1.3 million meals to children in need.
