Grant Information

Background: Northwood Woman’s Club seeks to identify and support non-profit organizations working to help women and children in Dallas and Collin Counties.

Eligibility: This opportunity is limited to non-profit organizations supporting the needs of women and children. Non-profits must operate in Dallas and/or Collin Counties, provide an audited financial statement and be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service.

Grantmaking Criteria: Northwood Woman’s Club will prioritize grant funding to organizations that:

  • Will utilize funds for a specific need as opposed to adding the funds to the operational budget.

  • Have a proven track record of supporting the organization’s mission or cause.

  • Can articulate the impact of the grant request to the number of clients served.

Instructions on how to access the online grant portal:

1.   Visit: CFT Grant Page

2.   Select “Create a New Account” (or Log On if you already have an account) and follow

prompts

3.   Select the green “Apply” at the top of the page

4.  In the top right corner, you will see an “Enter Access Code” field. Enter: NWC

5.   Click the blue “Apply” button

Administration: Grants will typically range between $10,000 - $50,000.

Non-profits that are interested in being considered for grant funding must complete an online application between October 28, 2025 through December 1, 2025. Late, mailed, or e-mailed applications will not be accepted.

Timeline: Applications will be reviewed by the Northwood Woman’s Club Philanthropy Committee. Funding decisions will be communicated by the end of April 2026 and be awarded in May 2027.
