Grant Halliburton

The Grand Halliburton Foundation works to help families and young people recognize the signs of mental illness through a variety of avenues including mental education, resources and support Since 2006, Grant Halliburton Foundation has provided mental health education, training, and support to move than 300,000 students, educators, parents and professionals.

Mommies in Need

Annie’s Place is a no-cost drop-in childcare center serving 40 parents and 60 children every weekday while their mother undergo critical therapy procedures at Parkland Hospital. Training is provided for nannies caring for the children at Annie’s Place.

LifeSavers Foundation

For 20 years, LifeSavers Foundation has been serving people in crisis. Proceeds from the Upscale Resale Store provide single mothers, children and local partner agencies with car seats, portable cribs, diapers, clothing, and furniture. The Mobile Sonogram unit travels to areas of Dallas County where access to such services is not available. The Doctor Spot Mobile Clinics Provide free primary care to children and women.

Refresh Frisco

Refresh Frisco’s mission is to ensure that every child in our community has access to person hygiene items. Refresh Frisco works directly with Frisco ISD, Little Elm ISD and Denton Braswell High School staff to connect with students in need of such services. Once enrolled in the program, students receive customized hygiene packs filled with full-sized essential hygiene products every 3 months.

Metrocrest Services

Metrocrest Services specializes in helping families and seniors who are going through a crisis situation to stabilize their lives for a brighter future. Services include emergency financial assistance, financial coaching and education, a food pantry, employment coaching and job readiness, senior services to help seniors age in place, and seasonal programs focused on children including holiday gifts and food for the summer.

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital

Clinicians in the hospital’s Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders administer expert assessment to approximately 900 children each year, and provide targeted interventions plans for those diagnosed with an academic learning disorder. Diagnosing learning disorders and providing timely intervention sets children down the path to success in literacy…and in life!
